Join me for a family friendly creative pottery session at Makers’ Yard, where your child can enjoy hands-on making activities during the school holidays.
The 2 hour sessions will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays during school holidays from 11.00am-1.00pm or 2.00-4.00pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Each session includes the option of making one item following the theme of the day which could be, for example, making a piggy bank or making and decorating a tile. There will also be the chance to have a go on a potter’s wheel. After this there is a process of drying, firing and glazing which takes between 4-6 weeks.
The cost is £15 per child per workshop. This includes materials, firing and glazing one piece of work. Additional pieces can be made at a charge of £5 per kg of clay used.
Postage is available for those who are not able to collect their work.
Postage to the UK will be charged at:
1 Piece £4.50. 2 Pieces £6.50. 3 Pieces £9.00. 4 Pieces £15.00.
