Adult Evening ClassesJoin me for pottery evening classes at Makers’ Yard. The two hour sessions will run on Tuesday evenings for six weeks from 6.00-8.00pm, starting on 5th July until 9th August. This is a flexible ceramics course in which students will be encouraged to develop their own creative ideas and styles of making and explore the possibilities of working with clay. It is suitable for any level of ability from beginners to those who have some understanding of ceramic processes. The cost is £90 per person. There will be a material charge of £5 per kg of clay used. Places are limited, so booking and pre-payment of a £30 deposit is required to secure your place. After making your piece there is a process of drying, firing and glazing which takes between 4-6 weeks.

Join me for a family friendly creative pottery session at Makers’ Yard, where your child can enjoy hands-on making activities during the school holidays.
The 2 hour sessions will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays during school holidays from 11.00am-1.00pm or 2.00-4.00pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Each session includes the option of making one item following the theme of the day which could be, for example, making a piggy bank or making and decorating a tile. There will also be the chance to have a go on a potter’s wheel. After this there is a process of drying, firing and glazing which takes between 4-6 weeks. The cost is £15 per child per workshop. This includes materials, firing and glazing one piece of work. Additional pieces can be made at a charge of £5 per kg of clay used. Postage is available for those who are not able to collect their work. Postage to the UK will be charged at: 1 Piece £4.50. 2 Pieces £6.50. 3 Pieces £9.00. 4 Pieces £15.00.
