Adult Pottery Classes and Tuition at Makers' Yard

Adult Evening Classes

Join me for pottery evening classes at Makers’ Yard. The two hour sessions will run on Tuesday evenings for six weeks from 6.00-8.00pm, starting on 5th July until 9th August. This is a flexible ceramics course in which students will be encouraged to develop their own creative ideas and styles of making and explore the possibilities of working with clay. It is suitable for any level of ability from beginners to those who have some understanding of ceramic processes.

The cost is £90 per person. There will be a material charge of £5 per kg of clay used. Places are limited, so booking and pre-payment of a £30 deposit is required to secure your place. Email jo@jokeoceramics.co.uk for further details

Adult Clay Days

Join me for a creative day at Makers’ Yard. This is a flexible ceramics workshop in which students will be encouraged to develop their own ideas and styles of making. It is suitable for any level of ability from beginners to pottery or those who have some understanding of ceramic processes. There will also be the chance to have a go on a potter’s wheel.  After making your piece there is a process of drying, firing and glazing which takes between 4-6 weeks.

The 6 hour sessions will run on Saturdays or Sundays from 10.30-4.30, on the following days:
Saturday 18th June 2016

Sunday 19th June 2016
Saturday 23rd July 2016
Sunday 24th July 2016
Sunday 28th August 2016

The cost is £40 per person per day. There will be a material charge of £5 per kg of clay used.

Learning pottery even during this advanced era seems to be very interesting and enjoying activity. I have joined some Adult Pottery Classes to fulfill my interest. Within two consecutive months, I have learned a lot.
